December Holiday at the Hall Old Town Lewisville Saturday, December 5 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The seventh annual Holiday at the Hall festival will be held in Old Town Lewisville and features a wide range of free family events. Since its inception, this award-winning festival has grown into a fascinating winter wonderland of holiday ambiance and spirit of the season. More than 15,000 people attend the yearly celebration, which was named the best special event in the country in 2003 among cities with similar population by the City-County Communications and Marketing Association. The festival includes local favorites such as the Holiday Lights! Old Town Lighting, Polar Ice Carving Village, Breakfast with Santa, a parade down Main Street, live entertainment, strolling entertainment, visits with Santa Claus, and the annual Motorcycle Toy Run. Tailwaggers Ranch is an area within the festival where dogs and their owners can have a howling good time. This area will include over 18 animal rescue groups along with animal informational groups. Dog events will include a pet parade, costume contest, cake walks, pet detective demonstrations, and an agility rally area that owners can take their dogs through.

January Hearts & Roses Ball Hilton Garden Inn Lewisville Saturday, January 23 Afternoon Ball 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Evening Ball 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. The City of Lewisville Parks & Leisure Services Department plans this fun evening for all Princes, and Princesses ages 4–13, accompanied by their Kings and Queens (parents or guardians) to the Hearts & Roses Ball! March POPCORN CONCERT - "Peter and the Wolf" Lewisville Lake Symphony and LakeCities Ballet Theatre Sunday, March 7 3 p.m. Frederick P. Herring Recreation Center (formerly the Civic Circle Recreation Center) 191 Civic Circle Drive Each year in March the Lewisville Lake Symphony and the LakeCities Ballet tell Sergei Prokofiev’s cunning tale of “Peter and the Wolf.” Children and grown-ups of all ages have fun learning about various instruments and watching the ballet to find out if Peter and his friends can outsmart that wolf! Popcorn and drinks served for all. Tickets for the show are $10 for 18 and over, $8 for students and 60+, $5 for children, $25 family rate, free for non-walking infants. May Old Town Lewisville Farmers Market Wayne Ferguson Plaza Saturdays Each year in May the Old Town Lewisville Farmers Market, a seasonal open-air forum for Denton County returns to Wayne Ferguson Plaza. The market has a variety of North Texas-grown products, as well as pasta, bakery items, cedar furniture, eco-friendly bags, and other green vendors.
