UTD Robotics
For children ages 9-12
Tuesdays, 4-5:30 p.m.

Sign up for one of our four-week camps and discover how to build a working robot from beginning to end. Each lesson builds on the previous class, so participants must register for all four courses. Registration required. Visit the Youth Services Desk or call 972.219.3577 to sign up. Registration opens two weeks before each session begins. Children may only register for one four-week session.

• 1st session: June 6, 13, 20 & 27
• 2nd session: July 11, 18 & 25, August 1 

Gardening with Grandkids

  • Part I: Monday, June 12, 3-4 p.m. *No registration required. For grandparents & caregivers
  • Part II: Wednesday, June 21, 3-4 p.m. *Registration opens after Part I concludes. 

On Monday June, 12th, grandparents and caregivers will learn how to engage children in gardening activities. Then on Wednesday, June 21st, grandparents and grandchildren will each paint a flower pot and take it home. Registration for Part II is required. Attendees of Part I will have priority registration for the second part. Registration for Part II will open after the first part has concluded.

Come cool off with board and video games at the Library! We’re setting up the Wii and board games, so whether you prefer to conquer Candyland or dance your way to victory, we’ll have something for the whole family. All Wii game are rated E for Everyone. No registration required.

Build a Cardboard Castle!
For all ages (Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult)
Wednesday, July 12, 3-5 p.m.

Come to the Library to construct a giant castle out of cardboard and decorate it! All supplies are provided-just bring your imagination and get ready to build! Check in at the youth desk. Registration required. Visit the Youth Services Desk or call 972.219.3577 to sign up.
