The city's first positive West Nile Virus mosquito trap for 2017 has been confirmed. The positive sample came from a trap collected June 22, from the 500 block of Rachels Court. Ground spraying will be conducted in a half-mile radius of the testing location. Weather permitting, spraying is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, starting at 9 p.m. each night.
