The city's first positive West Nile Virus mosquito trap for 2017 has been confirmed. The positive sample came from a trap collected June 22, from the 500 block of Rachels Court. Ground spraying will be conducted in a half-mile radius of the testing location. Weather permitting, spraying is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, starting at 9 p.m. each night.

To file a police report visit our Customer Support Center.

Copies of police and accident reports are available Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Police Department Records window. The Police Department is located at 1187 W. Main St. 

The fee for non-certified motor vehicle crash reports retrieved from the police department Records Section is $6. A certified copy of a crash report (from Records Division only) is $8. The Record Division accepts cash or check only.

Please click here to download a copy of the Accident Report request form.  You may fill out the form and bring it in person to the Records office during business hours or mail it with your payment.  Once the payment has been processed, the Records office will either mail a copy to you, or email it,  if you have provided an valid email address.  Certified copies will be mailed only. 

Police crime reports are considered an ‘Open Record’ and portions are available to anyone upon request free of charge provided the report does not exceed 30 pages.
