The Code Enforcement Department receives, investigates, tracks, and coordinates zoning and code violation complaints in the City of Lewisville. Our goal is to settle code compliance issues by educating and communicating clearly with the public to achieve voluntary compliance.

Grass and Weeds:
Grass and weeds may not exceed six inches on developed lots and 12 inches on undeveloped lots.

Unsightly Matter: Unsightly matter may not accumulate.

Parking on Unimproved Surfaces: All vehicles must be parked on an improved surface.

Fence Maintenance:
All fences, both existing and new, and all parts thereof, shall be maintained in a safe and aesthetically pleasing condition.

Inoperative/junked vehicles: Inoperative/ junk vehicles may not be stored in public view.
