The Property Enhancement Program (PEP) is a financial grant-rebate program for Lewisville residents to assist with exterior home repairs. Eligible applicants and projects may be approved for a fifty-percent (50%) matching grant-rebate once in a 12-month time period.
All eligible Lewisville residents may apply for a maximum $1,000 matching grant for exterior repairs, regardless of household income.
If a homeowner is repairing or replacing a private retaining wall adjacent to a thoroughfare (street, alleyway, etc.), the resident may apply for a maximum $3,000 matching grant, regardless of household income.
If the applicant's household identifies as Low to Moderate Income, they may apply for a maximum $5,000 matching grant. To determine if the household qualifies, please see Appendix A in the Program Guidelines, or by looking at the chart below.
For more detailed information and requirements of the Property Enhancement Program, please read through the program guidelines. For questions or clarification, please contact Drew Christ, Housing Rehabilitation Specialist, firstname.lastname@example.org, 972.219.5099.
The Property Enhancement Program is not retroactive for completed projects - applicants must submit a completed application before a project begins. The City of Lewisville will not accept applications for repairs that have already began construction or that are completed.
