This year’s event will feature three stages of live music, an expanded Western Village featuring the Ghost Horse Native American Dancers, the Legends of Texas gunfighters, a mechanical bull attraction, a working Old West jail for photo ops and a working blacksmith. Also on festival grounds will be the Kid Kountry Playground presented by Castle Hills, Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Stage for additional music and entertainment acts, Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Cattle Drive Parade, Castle Hills Culinary Corner, and at the Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater, an art gallery exhibit and community group performances.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. Friday, September 29 and 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 30. Free tickets will be available for pick-up or download (LewisvilleWesternDays.com) in August. Download or print out as many as needed and present them to the gate for free admission between the hours of 5-7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. However, beginning at 7 p.m. both nights, free tickets will no longer be redeemable, and a $10 charge will be assessed for admission for everyone except children 10 and under.
