The city's first positive West Nile Virus mosquito trap for 2017 has been confirmed. The positive sample came from a trap collected June 22, from the 500 block of Rachels Court. Ground spraying will be conducted in a half-mile radius of the testing location. Weather permitting, spraying is scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, starting at 9 p.m. each night.

She started her career in Lewisville after graduating from college in 1987, later went to Keller as the Director of Community Development for 12 years and has been back in Lewisville since 2007.
