Candidate filing period begins Feb. 6 for 2010 City Council election
Filing for a place on the ballot for the next Lewisville general election begins Saturday, Feb. 6. Election Day is Saturday, May 8. On the ballot for this year’s election is Councilmember Place 4, currently held by John Gorena, and Councilmember Place 5, currently held by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Rudy Durham. More

2010 AARP TAX-AIDE
Free tax assistance will take place each Monday starting February 1st through April 12th from 9am to 6pm at the Lewisville Senior Center (1950 A South Valley Parkway). This free tax help is open to individuals (no businesses) 50 years and older. More
Lewisville Lake trout stocking dates slated
Texas Parks and Wildlife, in conjunction with the City of Lewisville and the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, will stock the Elm Fork of the Trinity River with more than 4,000 rainbow trout on four dates this winter as part of an ongoing program to boost the fish population More
Water Conservation Information
The City of Lewisville is currently in Stage 1;Voluntary Conservation Stage of the Water Conservation and Emergency Water Management Plan. Stage 1 will remain in effect until further notice. This stage does recommend that all outdoor watering be done on the water customer's regularly scheduled garbage collection days. More
